You can value your holding however you like, but here in the real world, only the price matters. But there’s nothing peculiar about exploiting other options when the opportunities present themselves.

I was carrying a $200k loss on GLN and sold out in March, in a similar falling market. I sold at 91 cents, and it’s now at 70 cents. I invested the funds from that sale in Canadian spod explorers and recouped my GLN loss within two months. If I’d held onto GLN, I’d now be $265k behind there.

Moral of the story - the fact that you can’t understand it, doesn’t make it wrong or “peculiar”.

And spare me the investment thesis speech. You’ve been invested here just one month longer than me, so I’d say we probably had similar motives for entering AGY.
