yep, you’re correct on the contract size. I was trying to avoid looking at the road while my second Learner driver son was at the wheel…. Far more terrifying than options volatility… lol only 3 more learner kids to go…. Can’t wait for driverless vehicles so no more learner driving… the M1 from the GC to Brisbane is hard enough to deal with without having a 16 year old at the wheel…

The liquidity is pretty good in PLS options, much better than IGO as an example or at least that’s what I’ve found. The market maker is the one who has to accept the increase of exposure and given how much PLS is shorted etc I’d say that there is plenty of underlying stock moving around. Some trades do involve a bit of discussion with the other side but those are large positions so doesn’t happen all that often. I did hit a liquidity problem with AMP a little while ago which forced a bit of a change to how I do things. I think when you get into the $10’s of Millions in assigned value that’s when liquidity starts to become an issue, any options position on PLS that has an assigned value of $1m-$3m is pretty well covered and just goes through easily enough. I only trade options over 6 stocks and all of them are ones that I already own and am happy to have more if I have to take assigned stock at the end.

I only post the options stuff on here as there are soooo many negative outlooks on here without any indication that those posters are attempting to profit from whatever research they’re quoting from. Pretty easy to throw rocks from the sidelines… but yes, options and charts seem to go together fairly well.
