Raising money is a large part of the job for any clinical stage (or any pre-revenue company) CEO and thankfully Wayne is good at selling the company. Obviously if things had gone to plan we wouldn't need another raise this soon but with Mercer declining to add to their position, the $50 million Yorkville facility being abandoned and $40 million worth of $29 options being out of the money...here we are 6 months after the last raise with the company hurting for cash again. I don't blame Wayne, he gave it his best shot last time but the share price hasn't cooperated. I do think that he'll likely have to expand the US institutional base this time beyond Perceptive so this and any other upcoming presentations could be very important.
