It is interesting that some companies are getting contracts and scaling up and obviously have ways around any patents CCE have ( they are old now ) and others are with partners who probably hold rights to sell to anyone and just pay a comission to CCE etc. It also shows that unless CCE can show its software, anchors belt designs, PTO are stronger, more durable effecient cheaper etc etc then others have worked stuff out without as long leadtimes. Knowledge and technology of others is increasing all the time if only by seeing what has failed and buying parts of failed companies.

Good points, Teddyward,as usual. However, from a personal point of view, if CCE or whoever,can get tidal generation up and going on an economic scale, then that would be far preferable to unsightly wind farms-and all their attendant problems, and hectares of ground hidden beneath solar panels.
