I have been v. bullish re wheat since mid-June (see grains thread) but am still stunned by the 50% price leap over past 7-8 weeks! It's broken a record of 50 yrs standing! I am also bullish re sugar with low stkpiles being reported in India, Phillipines and Indonesia among others. Our milling season ends in late-october. Crop yields appears slightly below normal. My query: If sugar price keeps rising and bursts thru 20c/lb... will CSR be able to still benefit assuming sale goes through about same time season finishes??
PS.thanks for the exc posts on 'allocating proceeds' thread.
