You keep forgetting how you charge your new EV. Oh! That's right. By using power plants that run off of coal, gas, petroleum, hydro, and wind. Now let's break that down to the country. What power plants use to create electricity in Australia: Coal = 75% Gas = 16% Hydro = 5% Wind = 2% Other = 2%
Now the United States: Coal = 19.5% Gas = 39.8% Petroleum = .6% Other = 40.1%
Globally = Coal = 64%
So if people want to cut out fossil fuels and everyone is scared of nuclear, How is your EV getting charged?
I don't think you can build enough wind turbines & solar panel fields to supply the worlds needs. Hydro is great if you have ample water supply.
I am all for striving to keep our planet green & clean, but, tell me how it will work? I guess your way is to go back to the dark ages where we built fires, lived in huts, and the wheel was the greatest thing ever designed. Just my thoughts.
