@poyndexter; IMO Jacinta Price's presentation to the National Press Club today was an absolute shocker - she came across as being clueless about the impact of British Colonisation / Invasion, insensitive to the aspirations of First Nations peoples and caustic in assessing their efforts to 'Close the Gap.

I couldn't believe what I heard when Jacinta Price made the inference that Aboriginal Elders responsible for the Uluru Statement from the Heart had promulgated LIES. Really?

That she even defended her opposition to a Voice to Parliament by noting that there are First Nations Peoples in Parliament left me with my mouth wide open. The Dutton Line has been that what's needed is for First Nations Peoples to be heard but not via 'elitists' - yet Price trotted out the ELITIST's solution - as federal MPs wealthy and privileged people like herself and Warren Mundine represent all First Nations Peoples at all levels.

It's not good and I'm not surprised that she's now copping abusive messages and even death threats.
