I love these updates for the temporary hits of confidence (some might say cognitive dissonance) that they provide! But overall I would love for some of these “Analysts” to have their feet held to the fire over the achievement of their PT predictions over time. It is rare these days to find any accuracy in 12mth PTs from any analyst in any sector. Decoupling many of them from paid promotion - where they are effectively being paid by the issuer to commentate on its stock - would be a good start!
