As I commented earlier how amenable to concession and compromise do you really think Putin would be given his track record and approach ? Personally I wouldn't trust a word he uttered. And you can thank him for the hideous loss of life, maiming, displacement, misery and obnoxious levels of destruction including that of various taxpayers money. No invasion/War and it doesn't happen. Simple.
