If it goes to Korea or Japan, it will probably mean the end product will comply with the IRA in the US and accreditation in Europe.

The IRA has no bearing on our concentrate at the moment, it goes to whoever has the refinery space to take it and that is almost certainly China. Most if not all will end up being used in Batteries for use in China, Asia ,Europe or even Australia and not just EV's, could be in motorbikes , power tools or energy storage systems.
We would probably get a higher price in Korea but I doubt they have any spare capacity.

As a side note Tesla uses Lithium carbonate in its energy storage systems which is becoming a huge industry and I don't think there is any IRA assistance for that (happy to be corrected), so theoretically our concentrate could indirectly end up back in North America , their Lithium has to come from somewhere they only make the battery packs.

When it comes to building and financing a Carbonete plant the IRA does come into play with grants and tax incentives avaliable plus vastly reduced transport issues...

    Cheers Whisky
