As Jefian alludes too... My understanding is that they have to get one well into production for each 640 acre spacing in order to hold the acerage by production.... (To avoid loosing it)...
It would appear that SSN will retain 16,000 acres of prime land on the Niobra Shale....
Anyone played with the numbers to understand
1. Cost to develop there current land???
2. What type of production figures SSN could expect to extract from this land???
3. A timeline through to postive cashflow and beyond???
Love the story... And don't have any doubts that the sale will proceed... This sector is hot...
Nothing better then producing oil right on the door step of the biggest consumer in the world....
