These articles are over a year old. Lots has happened since then including environmental studies, community engagements and more importantly a change of leadership which is PRO MINING!,
The authors also talk about mining as if everything is done in an open pit - disruptive, dusty destructive etc. This would likely be an underground mine with little to no disruption on surface except setting up.
KRM also talk very highly and confidently on ESG friendly, minimally disruptive and ensuring good standing with the community.
There are already mining taking place within Natura zones ( Sakatti for eg). its a matter of process and time - and we are already 2 years into this! We all hope for a positive outcome
