That shorter of 500k shares on Friday must be feeling a bit nervous. Unless it is some hedging strategy of some sort, it seems ludicrous to go short here after a 50% share price decline and announcements imminent. Unless they know something we don't, it looks like an attempt to keep a cap on the price. Initially successful with a 7% price drop but now reversed as traders position for upcoming announcements. We saw a similar amount of shares borrowed when we popped from mid 90's up to $1.05-$1.08 and the trend was quickly reversed.
