And I wouldn’t discount the idea that with 28,000 small holders, that bought during and soon after COVID, trying to save the Jobkeeper bonuses.
Add to that the ever increasing cost of rents, electricity and interest payments.
All of the above is seriously impacting the SP. As always distressed sellers lose their shirts and cashed up cool heads make a killing.
Especially when buying into a company that’s had around 200 positive announcements on the trot.
I agree that the SPP for retail shareholders has been a disaster. But that just increases the size of the gains that buyers will make.
