A decision to go to 6" hole would be driven by well control factors....ie formation pressure and frac gradients and casing design. In each hole section you reach a depth where you run out of the safety margin required to allow for a well kill operation without the increased mud weight resulting in the frac gradient being exceeded.

I'm curious as to if there is a firm plan to go to 6" hole for deepening into the Lower Anga and if so what is driving this decision. The fact that this has come to light so close to spud seems a bit strange.
