I hear what you are saying, the second paragraph I find a little unclear. However, I would not like to see a dismantle, transport and reconstruct job. Not on an existing operational plant. Natural gas to syngas or whatever. A bit like Cinderella's slipper. Maybe an onsite upgrade but that's all.
If it stacks up, just buy and operate it, and then plan a future. If they start messing with it before they get it, they will inevitably stuff it up for sure, but who knows what is in the minds of the BOD. They must realise by now that they are not entrepreneurs.
I think a purchase of an existing operational plant might also be in shareholders' interests. Keep at it, discussion is in short supply on this forum.
