Unfortunately not. Merchant and I tried to get the board to see the potential value of this approach, but they were not interested. Merchant then tried to replace the board last year via a 249D (the board that has recently resigned on mass I should add), but the shareholders in their infinite wisdom reject this and chose to keep the existing board which then did nothing. At least the long suffering shareholders were given the opportunity for change.

I don't know how easy it would be to revive the anti-fungal IP given most of the key people at HXL have moved on. All in all a massive shame for what could have been an Australian biotech success story with a little more vision from management.
