I agree with you as a customer; I've never gone in saying I need this specific brand, but there are many that do and willing to pay a margin....but more importantly I think it's the commercial business that may leverage this as their customers may be very focused on brand/functionality/cost.

I also agree that margin is critical, but the fact that they have indicated sales of $118m seems to suggest they are taking over from another distributor and/or goodyear/dunlop don't want to do that themselves.........I suspect this will have very low margins (because it's a wholesaler agreement), but its just leveraging their scale - they have the warehousing space, the processes to take orders and deliver to retail arms so why not take that margin for a little extra work (as they say, little additional fixed cost, but a use of their working capital).

Further on margins...absolutely important, but the key is: accretive to EPS from 4QFY24.

ok -was a bit busy to read the details - I see now how the Dunlop dealers fit in as its just wholesale distribution

but the brands are good and I believe sought after
