I think I need to call on some smart programmer here.
I have always wanted to generate a chart that shows unfilled gaps so if anyone has the skills I think it could be an important tool.
The first chart has blue bars as actual SPI day trading, the red bars are gaps lower between the previous close and the next day's high, and green bars are gaps from previous close to next day's low.
In the second chart I have just hidden the daily action and left the gaps showing.
I know I need to construct some sort of array where previous gaps are eliminated as daily action fills them and then only remaining gaps are shown.
Hard to do but probably still possible with Tradestation but I am sure easier for those with other programming skills.
I know not all believe gaps are important but I am not one of them.
