Yes this is surely a potential catalyst for action of one sort of another. And it will be very informative to see how the sp reacts.

Seems to me that Casey and co are pursuing a strategy not unlike their "nearest equivalent" AOE. All we need now for the model to be complete is a major LNG partner or customer. Santos has siad it could look at Newcastle LNG "in the future" but ESG is definitely dorcing the issue.

You would have to think that approvals are progressing. Interesting that january 14 is the date next year that thye can back out of the land purchase ... that's a VERY similar date to the expiry of the HGO top-up i8sn't it???????
