"Finally am I correct to assume that they will drill and cement all the way down to TD, for then oil sample? Or will they wireline test and cement each section, for then oil sample the lot at the end.
Pressures and samples are done using MDT wireline formation test tool. After 12-1/4" hole is drilled wireline will be run before casing off the hole section with 9-5/8" casing. 8-1/2" hole is then drilled and similarly further wireline logs are run before well is cased. If a 6" is drilled then that will require a third wireline job using the slimhole wireline tools..and most likely the standard MDT tool if they want to acquire pressures and samples.
