I once had a dream of gaining some sort of financial freedom from my investment in LOM. A decade or more down the track and the best I can hope for is getting my money back. With 1.5b odd shares on issue a 20c share price gives us roughly a $300m market cap which is going to be a big ask from here, even with a Kimbo discovery particularly because of our complicated ownership structure. My only hope would be to average down at these levels however I don’t have any spare capital that I can afford to loose so have no other option but to continue to sit tight and hope. I’ve pretty much resided to the fact that I got this investment completely wrong and should have paid more attention to sovereign issues, particularly the fact that in Angola progress moves at a glacial pace, at best. It seems they have done very little to encourage foreign investment IMO, something they have been banging on about for years. Only got one person to blame, myself.

Anyway let’s hope some news to turn this share price around is not too far off…
