I think a replacement is unlikely in the next 5+ years. Sodium has long way to come and I just don't see it working in cars with its tendency to expand. You can't change physics.
Nothing material has changed in the graphite space since the Synthetic bombshell was dropped. It's just the continuing sentiment shift and retail capitulation from a terrible week in the markets.
