If POSCO want in they can pay a higher premium. Everyone knows how important JRLs deposit is for future lithium supply. Seems like paying a premium is the norm these days. Look at Albermarle paying $1.75 AUD for each share when at the time PMTs share price was $1.51 AUD.
Theres plenty of competition for the big players to secure supply and JRL will benefit at the right time.
