there could be some merit in extending the down hole gauges. They have mentioned before that the longer they leave them down there, the better the information they can gather, especially if the Wellhead pressure is still rising.

If you have down hole gauges rated for 30 days...and it gives you more information...why not use them ?

Again, not saying they are actually doing that, but why wouldn't you ? What else have they got to do ? ... not a whole lot I'd imagine...
