A: from me anyway..... because its worth knowing/understanding what Marx or any other academic writer says in order to decide if the writer makes valid points of if they're loonies.
Nietzsche is a prime example. many know his most famous quote "that which does not kill me makes me stronger".... commonly adopted by drug addicts as well as freedom fighters on both socialist and fascist sides, including Hitler. but how many have read his works. how do we know what he meant unless we read his work?
