Since September 2013 ABC Morning News has been reduced to a couch gossip session about movie stars, films and singers. Its coverage is woeful, albeit SBS does a fair job of reporting about events overseas.
Then we have what the USA, the UK and Australia have collectively done to fair dinkum news provided by whistle-blowers including Julian Assange - sickening stuff from countries which claim they're not like Russia and China.
Even worse, our governments are in the process of banning social media from other sources.
