heres another way to look at it....
there were 2,9 million shares traded today.
of these, 2.4 million were short sold. i.e. someone borrowed stock to dump into the sell side.
So you can consider this is an "artificial" creation of supply.
What effect does this have on the perception of "supply and demand"...esp for anyone who does not have the daily short sold/total traded data?
