When all is said and done, and if the merger goes ahead under the terms of this proposal, TMT share holders will be left holding AVL shares to the same value of their TMT shares as if they hald simply sold them at 32.4c. Holders can keep these AVL shares, or sell them. Whether they invest in AVL or not is an entirely separate issue. The final result is that TMT management are now asking if holders would like to sell out for 32.4c per share, because that's all they will get for their investment and for months/years of waiting. It's simply a terrible deal. If they posed this question directly, there would be howls of protest from all holders. It looks to me that TMT management have sold out their shareholders.
