Sounds like they've had some sort of downhole equip failure, might have lost the drilling assembly downhole? TIH = travelling in hole (or tripping in hole) I believe. Fishing = attempting to retrieve equipment from downhole. None of these things are generally fatal but can involve expense/lost time. Doesn't seem that they are at reservoir depth yet, thankfully, so could just be a bl**dy hassle that gets sorted in due course.
