You miss the point. The issue is:
-Has the counteroffensive been successful ?

The map indicates that it hasn't

I appreciate that the war may be changing tack from a Ukrainian point of view
in that the counteroffensive has essentially failed despite the equipment and
planning that went into it and now its longer range artillery , rockets & drones.

We'll simply have to await the outcome of this new tack.

IMO the escalation into long range warfare will likely result in an equal response
from Russia . Recent bombing of Odessa would suggest that, IMO.
