Anyone who thinks the amount of shares makes one ounce of difference is silly.
If you had a 100 million dollar business that you could buy for 60 million, but you had to buy it in 1 billion different parts, would that make the business any different if you bought it in 1 million different parts? Of course not, so long as you were certain you were getting a good deal on the business and it would still only cost 60 million you would take it happily.
Dilution matters when it DECREASES shareholder value, that is the same asset is diluted for cash burn. When dilution occurs to INCREASE shareholder value, that is, when you get a good deal on an asset acquisition, the company is worth MORE.
I know I would rather own .1% of 150million value rather than .12% of 60 million dollar value.
(No that isnt the exact amount of money I have in this company)
