hey knuckle, I’m certainly not the one to go further into memory management, per your post.
but it did make me think. Speed isn’t everything. Thinking of current gen CPU’s, more and more of them have some cores dedicated for low power. Ie, energy management when the full computing power is not required. Curious how a mid level memory subsystem could complement a low/mid level processor, the power saving would surely stack up large.
