I wonder how many of these batteries and their support systems have been put through multiple 40 degree plus Aussie summer days?
I remember Myth Busters did a thorough test to dispel the rumour that a regular cigarette lighter could explode just from being in a hot car.. They concluded, Myth Busted! No way are the conditions in a car ever hot enough to cause a lighter to explode..
I only live in mild weathered victoria, but still had it proved that lighters can and will explode when you lock them in a car and subject them to good aussie summer.
Purchasers of lithium grid batteries will also learn the hard way I think.
