Your on the money Jayszip. The Ndpr prices are the bottom line since Lynas is a market leader yet the SP has fallen since Jan 2022. Finding the capital for investment in renewables is waning and many countries are going into contingency and are not prepared to discard fossil fuel support as quick as they planned. Many people seem focused on Lynas kicking because of diversification away from the world's reliance of China. No, countries are slowing the renewable instead. . This board seems focused on digesting a lot of technical information and geopolitics, and very relevant, but its getting like watching politicians speak on TV with all the head nodders in the background and back patting but Im not thinking REE prices will go back to those previous highs. Oil is still extremely important and the Saudis are teaching us this right now. The increase in inflation created by fuel costs alone shows me renewables clearly cant make up the shortfall to keep economies stable. Lord help us if the oil producers decide to teach the renewable world a lesson and really cut oil production. Renewable IMO clearly have a place to help in the world but by the time renewable energy sources surpass oil and fossil fuel sources and energy production there will be many REE miners, producers taking market share in the industry outside China. Im seeing up to 24 months of prices between $6 and $7.50 (yee haa, yee haa, yee haa) and holding around a 7 digit figure in Lynas shares Im concerned with the trend, falling since Jan 2022, and the clear impact of the global financial market and the effect inflation is having. Jayszip, in Australia people have already started "hunkering down" unless you live in Mosman or Clontarf.
