Haven't tried to post a chart as I haven't needed to do so.

The current trendline has now been draw across 4 periods when highs were made. This time the line was broken but closed below the trendline.

If trendlines are broken, prices often come back to the trendline before continuing the breakout. Conversely, if prices hit a trendline, they often reverse before making another attempt to break through.

If downward trendlines are broken, I like to see a close above the trendline & trading above the trendline in the next trading period, before being satisfied the trend has been broken.
