"collective shame"? What ridiculousness. I am not ashamed that the Indigenous Australians have been getting billions of dollars in funding and have nothing to show for it. Just like they had Australia to themselves 70,000 years, and had NOTHING to show for it. They were still painting in caves and dancing around camp fires, when advanced nations were circling.

First all they wanted an apology. They got it.

Then all they wanted is money. They got it.

They deserved neither.
