If your shares are held in a superfund where you are not the manager you are normally restricted on how much you can buy and they frown on averaging down but eligible CRs are a way around these rules , so for example in 29Ms case if you held 220,000 shares you would be entitled to 100,000 shares at 69c but in this bubble even though the market price was as low as 62c the fund manager would restock your purchase to say 5000 and you would miss out on 95,000 shares .
This is one way where I know there would be an advantage to the CR price even though the market gave a further discount .
Hope this helps
Regards TT
