I think you have to look at potential (rather than the maths) with this one.
In the Roadshow presentation they show the following Large Strategic Alliances:
Ablynx/BI $1.8 Bil
Galapagos/Merck $1 Bil
Morphosis/Novartis > $600m
If AZ was to make an offer now, it would have to allow for PYC future potential.
