I agree with your post until we get to the last line.
WEF has no power/authority. they ask for funds from countries that are wealthy as foreign aid to poorer countries to help boost their economies so they can contribute to global productivity growth.... its the same principle as helping first Aussies stuck in poor remote holes in the ground.
what the WEF, a co-operative meeting of nations, including Aus, to build a better global economy. it doesn't imply reducing Aus standard of living, just helping to raise other countries to our standard.
