Torrid Holdings (NYSE:CURV) soared 38.9% in afternoon trading on Thursday on the same day that Sycamore Partners bought out Chico's FAS (CHS) for a huge premium.of note, Sycamore Partners holds a stake of about 79% in Torrid Holdings (CURV) and Sycamore Managing Director Stefan Kaluzny is the chairperson of the board.
