is anyone familiar with “the octonauts”? I wasn’t.

it is a British thing, for the bbc, promotes nature and conservation and has been growing in popularity in China for a while. A quick search on it proves it’s pretty big. 8 seasons and some movies. For very young children.

I had seen these characters alongside many a2 promotions for a year maybe when they did pop-up stalls at shopping malls, thought they were an a2 creation so didn’t pay much more attention to them.

i just found an 11 minute children’s computer- animated feature on WeChat about some undersea living adventurer types that are called to NZ to solve a sad cow problem, while learning about the scientific evidence of a1 vs a2, they save the day. Too long to upload and too bizarre to explain - but it exists.

We can find them on the abc and on Netflix and it seems they have a partnership promoting a2 in China.
