Since Gina came onstream, I think I have been relatively consistent in my view that Gina is not LTR's saviour. Gina does what Gina wants. The role play here is very similar to AGO, where AGO was deemed crap whilst been accumulated and then fully taken over, meaning the benfits transferred to Hancock, not SHs.

At this stage it is not clear what Gina's strategy is here - my gut feel is she is going to use her share accumulations to foster her own nest by cutting a deal with Albermale (or MIN), given she does not have experience in spodumene. I don't think MIN does either given Mt Marion was actually a JV with Ganfeng btw.

    I posted as such in Post #: 70084530 and Post #: 69836087

This Ann could be about Gina saying I have the cash to help fund the capex increases, and I hope to have a board seat, but I doubt that given LTR can actually get bank finance given the free cash flow on offer once production starts. The bank loan would be paid of in less than a year is my point. This is all about putting doubts into SHs minds (or even lenders) to take control or influence of LTR at this important stage, been pre production. (Just need to look at Alita and AJM - had there issues but now are probably quite profitable but SHs didn't benefit as the production issues before spodumene price ramp ups meant they didn't survive and others benefited - a bit like AGO in the iron ore space).

Be wary of white knights is all I would say, because at the end of the day the spodumene price in the DFS by LTR is still significantly lower than current spodumene prices and what is forecast in the next few years.

I just hope TG has a plan B, but at this stage I still think LTR is Albermales for the taking, and it is how they play with Gina that will count ultimately.

Will be interesting what MIN is up to as well on the LTR registry as well - and what influence Ganfeng may be having on them as well.

We are all passengers in this as it plays out.

    All IMO
