Nailed it mate…
The moment when the “imminent deal” went beyond the meaning of “imminent”, it immediately became misleading. JZ continuing to not address shareholders that there was no deal, was his very first act of carrot dangling to maintain a “just around the corner” effect. There’s no sugar coating on how he just kept silent for years about the imminent deal falling through and expected shareholders to figure it out themselves. Now the market no longer trusts JZ except for the loud minority of butt kissing bullies on HC.
