They'll be ensured (either the operator or the driller) for technical failure which will also include clean-up to a certain value.
Its only when there is a failure of the company to follow agreed practise/process (i.e. malfeasance) that the company will catch the clean-up cost in full. So we'll be good. As long as the farmer's don't get pissed off and shut off lease access to land.
