There has been rumours and talk of this for some time obviously; there was also the discovery of the submission of a mandate on the Carrefour Lobby Quebec website talking of this hydroxide plant at Amos also a couple of months back.

But to actually see this in writing from Primero with this particular wording is pretty wild.

Now we know that the NAL carbonate plant PFS came out as a PTS with talk of trade off studies being carried out. Now we have confirmation that the trade off is indeed the long term rumoured Amos papermill to be converted into a hydroxide plant.

Now surely this is market sensitive or heading that way, and Sayona will need to make some form of announcement or mention of this soon as Primero here have stated online that the site is actually 'owned by Sayona'

As many of us hoped and discussed at the time, maybe Sayona did indeed use some of the capital raise funds to purchase the mill from Resolute and this could explain some of the large 'development' and capex costs.
