Funny how 12 or so months on and there is still talk about 'variants', still pay with coins often at checkouts holding everyone else up, still alive from the scandemic and still see so many wearing masks despite safely being quad vaccinated and inching ever so closer to another major war - now Azerbaijan once again shooting at Armenians and alliances forming between various countries in readiness - just in case - who gives a stuff about the consequences once it starts??

And locally many only worry about a referendum with so many wanting you to say yes to issuing a blank cheque not knowing the full consequences or getting a high five for getting rid of plastic straws as it's such a wonderful gesture to stop the mounting plastic waste and destroying coal infrastructure for more potential toxicity?? And some were worrying about me paying by coins for goods purchased, even as last I looked it is legal tender??

Now climate change fear and the push into nuclear energy - perhaps some should look at the following - the wonderful aftermath of a continuing playing out of man's achievements in the pursuit of 'clean' energy - perhaps no need to ask the gp as to why cancer cases are skyrocketing to 'pandemic' proportions - and yet many want more of these toxic substances to replace coal?? Who says 'sorry' to the marine life and to the environment in general plus all those who suffer as a result of contracting cancer with possible links back to radioactive waste?? Bet you a coin or two that no one will. In fact, there are more of these types of plants being built with yet more toxicity as a result. Clean energy - perhaps, but what's in those yellow tanks on the sea floor?? AIMO
