    Soyuzneftegas operates in Central Asia, North Africa, Syria and Iraq, and is chaired by Yuri Shafrakin, who was Russian energy minister from 1993 to 1996. Yuri Shafrakin founded Soyuzneftegas in 2000.

    It is interesting that the ex Russian energy minister is involved in a tiddler such as JPR; surely he must know the potential!
