Very true Tynawg, that is the way you would read this news story.
Net effect the same - so far attempts have failed and its obviously not capped.
Beginning to wonder if they should bring in that big dome that BP had built to cover it - should work for this one.
From what I am reading from all the stories so far is that the pressure is still very high forcing oil/gas/water into the air and its not ceasing on its own.
Impressive that the well has had such great pressure although uncontrolled but now its getting worrying for the partners.
IMO, GGP should be okay in the end of this being with a small percentage but I would be very concerned holding GGE if this goes on much longer. BP was self insured so it hit them in the shareholders pocket, but insurance will only cover so much.
