The 'he' I referred to was Ray Martin, I always found him in general terms to be respectful of both sides of a debate during his interviews of an era passed. It does indicate though that general respect and understanding in Australia is being degraded.

Ray's high profile puts him in a group of people who could have been better utilised for the YES campaign using his seemingly unbiased questioning style in a debate forum. Instead they have used him as a ramrod to name call everyone a 'dickhead' to continue to denigrate the good citizens of Australia who wish to exercise their democratic right to vote NO. Is that a reason to denigrate them though? If you do really believe the terminology he used was one out of endearment and respect then we get to understand why Australia is failing its indigenous populations. Even the elitist Aboriginals use these exact terms on their very own people, and you cant see anything wrong with that?

I wish all people who vote yes all the best in their endeavors, but scarcely do those same people wish the no camp the same? You can't se anything wrong with that either? It says everything about Australia as it stand today.

The Australia I grew up in was never like that and it's a shame many young people will never see an Australia built on respect, courtesy and allowing a variety of opinion without offense.

I see your incensed by the 90%, how about 80% NO?
